Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models and backend processing to support complex business analytics in manufacturing, engineering, and operations. Build and maintain ETL pipelines integrating SAP (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and non-SAP sources, ensure high data quality through monitoring and troubleshooting, and enable real-time insights via SAP Analytics Cloud and visualization tools. Work with cross-functional teams in Agile (SAFe) to deliver scalable data flows and performant in-memory solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SAP HANA native models: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems

• Create scalable data architectures and data flows for analytics and operational reporting

• Implement end-to-end data workflows with monitoring to identify and resolve data discrepancies

• Support real-time insights and interactive dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other visualization tools

• Enhance business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights

• Optimize performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory database capabilities

• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions

• Participate in Agile (SAFe) sprints, planning, and retrospectives; document best practices and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP HANA development experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript

• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments

• Familiarity integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy systems into data workflows

• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability

• Plus: Experience with SAP BW (InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, transformations)

• Strong understanding of data architecture principles

• Hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools

• Proficiency in Agile and tools such as JIRA and Confluence

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
