Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models and backend data workflows for analytics and operational reporting. Build and maintain ETL pipelines integrating SAP and non-SAP sources, ensure data quality through monitoring, and support real-time dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud. Work in Agile (SAFe) delivery and document best practices for scalable, high-performance data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP systems (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, third-party sources)
• Collaborate on scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
• Implement end-to-end data workflows with monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve data discrepancies
• Enable real-time insights and interactive dashboards with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other visualization tools
• Support custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights using SAP HANA back-end solutions
• Optimize performance for large datasets and complex workflows using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows (sprints, planning, retrospectives)
• Document and maintain technical best practices, processes, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development (or equivalent SAP roles)
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling: Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments (including SAP HANA)
• Familiarity integrating SAP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other legacy systems into data workflows
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability for large-scale datasets
• Experience with SAP BW is a plus (InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, data transformations)
• Strong data architecture knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
