Description

Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native data models and backend data processing to support manufacturing and operations analytics. Build and maintain ETL pipelines integrating SAP (ECC/S/4HANA) and non-SAP sources, ensuring data quality, performance, and scalable architectures. Enable real-time insights for dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud and other visualization tools while contributing to Agile delivery and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SAP HANA native models (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, SQLScript)
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines extracting, transforming, and loading data from SAP and non-SAP systems
• Collaborate on scalable data flows and data architectures for analytics and operational reporting
• Implement end-to-end data workflows with monitoring, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution
• Enable real-time insights and interactive dashboards via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other visualization tools
• Support business processes with custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights
• Optimize data processing performance for large datasets using SAP HANA in-memory capabilities
• Work with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) workflows, including sprints, planning, and retrospectives
• Document and maintain technical best practices, processes, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or equivalent SAP-focused roles
• Hands-on SAP HANA native modeling experience (Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, SQLScript)
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines in SAP environments
• Familiarity with SAP system integration (SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or legacy systems)
• Expertise in data performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability
• Plus: Experience with SAP BW environments (InfoObjects, DSOs, Process Chains, data transformations)
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and hands-on experience with SAP Web IDE and BW/4HANA tools
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies; experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
