Description

You will own product/service delivery end-to-end for IT solutions built on the Avaloq wealth management and banking platform, ensuring they meet customer needs across the customer journey. You will help maintain compliance with mandatory standards and regulatory requirements, and be accountable for operational stability, integrity, and availability of the products/services in your pod. You’ll also write unit and integration tests and continuously improve solutions through active collaboration with architects, developers, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT solutions aligned with solution design and customer needs

• Ensure compliance with mandatory standards and regulatory requirements

• Maintain group controls within pod activities and resolve remediation swiftly

• Ensure operational stability, integrity, and availability of supported products/services

• Drive pod performance in line with benchmark objectives (e.g., productivity, quality, effectiveness)

• Partner with Solution Architect to align solutions to the right architectures

• Write unit and integration tests

• Assess technical and business suitability of proposed requirements and recommend options

• Define and document solutions and changes using structured analysis techniques

• Validate solutions with business and technical representatives

Requirements

• Strong Avaloq development background

• Strong understanding of private banking and/or investment banking/capital markets

• Hands-on Avaloq experience (or comparable core banking/investment banking platforms)

• Strong scripting capability including PL/SQL

• Ability to use Avaloq parameterization with Unix and shell scripts, and Control-M

• Strong analysis, solution design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Experience across delivery lifecycle: development, testing, change requests, release execution support

• Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps

• Excellent English communication skills

• Growth mindset and ability to learn new tools/technologies quickly
