Description

Lead the design, build, and maintain internal platforms that enable development teams to deliver software efficiently and at scale. You will lead integration of AI-enabled platform capabilities—including GenAI, intelligent agents, and AIOps—to improve automation, reliability, and developer productivity. The work includes standardized tools and frameworks, platform reliability and high availability, and improving developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal platforms for self-service deployment and application management

• Develop and update standardized tools, libraries, and frameworks to optimize development workflows

• Guide adoption of AI platform technologies (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps)

• Integrate development tools and services within the platform ecosystem across multiple teams

• Enhance developer experience with documentation, training, and support

• Ensure platforms deliver high availability, reliability, and performance

• Apply DORA metrics to assess and improve development and operational processes

• Monitor industry trends to incorporate emerging technologies

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless application integration

• Provide technical guidance to resolve platform issues and improve system health

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field

• Strong knowledge of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep) and GitOps (Flux, ArgoCD)

• Familiarity with Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes

• Experience using internal developer platforms (Backstage, Humanitec, OpsLevel)

• Understanding of high availability, high performance multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments

• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python

• Troubleshooting experience for system resources and application stack issues

• Knowledge of native AI cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI)

• Ability to design, build, and operate AI agents and agentic frameworks

• Experience with coding agents/tools (Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity)

• Proficient English communication
