Description

Build automation services, workflows, and integrations to automate controls at scale for platform tenants. You will conceptualize, design, and develop solutions centered on APIs, data schemas, and process flows while supporting operational and engineering excellence within the Platform Control Plane. The role emphasizes automation, process improvement, reuse, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the scope of control needs and how Platform services can fulfill them for tenants

• Engineer automation services, workflows, and integrations for controls automation at scale

• Develop solutions using APIs, data schemas, and process flows

• Conceptualize, design, and implement automation solutions for controls

• Demonstrate operational, delivery, and engineering excellence within the Platform Control Plane

• Drive continuous improvement to mature processes and improve productivity

• Focus on automation, process improvement, and reuse

• Collaborate across functional areas to define, prioritize, and implement innovations for tenant engineering platforms

Requirements

• Understand Technology Platforms, including Internal Developer Platforms and Hosting Platforms (internal and cloud)

• Strong engineering skills across several languages (polyglot)

• Experience with database and schema development, API development, and basic Linux/web technology understanding

• Experience deploying software is helpful but not required

• Ability to deliver value through iterative, small increments

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proven fast learner

• Demonstrated technical leadership across global, time-zone-diverse (and potentially offshore) teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder management experience

• Proficiency in English and ability to communicate at a business level

• Strong reporting and presenting skills; ability to analyze and present data clearly

• Innovative thinking and willingness to challenge conventional approaches
