Description

Design and maintain internal platforms that enable self-service deployment and application management. Create standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline workflows across teams, and integrate development tools and services into a cohesive platform ecosystem. Lead adoption of AI-enabled platform capabilities (GenAI, autonomous agents, and AIOps) and use DORA metrics to improve software delivery and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal platforms enabling self-service deployment and management of applications
• Develop standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline workflows across teams
• Guide adoption of AI technologies on the platform (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps) to improve developer productivity and operations
• Integrate various development tools and services within the platform ecosystem
• Enhance developer experience through documentation, training, and platform support
• Implement strategies to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of platforms
• Use DORA metrics to assess and improve software delivery and operational processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless application support
• Provide technical guidance to resolve platform-related issues and improve system health

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering or related roles
• Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep and GitOps tools like Flux or Argo CD
• Familiarity with cloud resource management tools including Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes
• Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel
• Knowledge of high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems, and hybrid cloud environments
• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex system and application issues
• Proficient English communication skills in speaking, writing, and reading
• Nice to have: Native AI cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI)
• Nice to have: Experience designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic frameworks; coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity
