Description

Own and operate the Checkmarx application security platform as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Manage central configuration, upgrades, and day-to-day reliability, and troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines. Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes, new features, and improved scan integrations and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Manage central platform configuration and ensure smooth day-to-day operation
• Handle upgrades and maintenance to keep the platform running reliably
• Investigate and resolve user-reported issues
• Troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines
• Respond to operational incidents, including recovery efforts
• Coordinate with Checkmarx vendors on issues, feature requests, and timelines
• Participate in vendor meetings and escalate critical issues when needed
• Contribute to SAP Piper pipeline solution: bug fixes and development of new features
• Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations
• Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features
• Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans
• Validate vendor fixes and patches before production deployment, feeding insights into roadmap discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering and operating application security platforms such as Checkmarx
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, including scan execution and integration troubleshooting
• Experience with the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development
• Skills in vendor management, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines
• Background in operational incident handling and recovery processes
• Understanding of platform administration: configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance
• Ability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate their adoption
