Description

Own and operate the Checkmarx application security platform as the go-to technical expert for application teams, security teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Manage platform configuration and day-to-day operations, handle upgrades and maintenance, troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines, and respond to operational incidents. Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution (bug fixes and new features) and coordinate with the vendor to validate fixes and patches before production.

Responsibilities

• Manage central platform configuration and ensure reliable day-to-day operations
• Handle upgrades, maintenance, and operational incident recovery
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users
• Troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines and scan integrations
• Communicate with the vendor regarding issues, feature requests, and timelines; participate in vendor meetings and escalate critical issues
• Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution: bug fixes and development of new features
• Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations
• Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and platform features
• Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans
• Validate vendor fixes and patches before production deployment and provide feedback

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering and operating application security platforms such as Checkmarx
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, including scan execution and integration troubleshooting
• Experience with the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development
• Skills in vendor management, including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines
• Background in operational incident handling and recovery processes
• Understanding of platform administration: configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance
• Ability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption
