Description

You will support a long-term GIS program by creating cartographic map products and ensuring the quality of the geospatial data behind them. The work includes building map templates for incoming team questions, acquiring/validating/updating geodata, and maintaining shared dictionaries and taxonomies so concepts stay consistent across products. You will also automate repeatable geoprocessing steps using ModelBuilder-based tools instead of manually redoing the same processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cartographic map products

  • Create map templates tailored to specific project team needs

  • Acquire, validate, and update geospatial data

  • Integrate spatial data from multiple sources

  • Define and design geospatial dictionaries and taxonomies

  • Perform geospatial analysis, including finding patterns and trends in data

  • Build geoprocessing automation tools in ModelBuilder or other automation tools

  • Prepare reports and documentation

  • Recommend best practices and procedures for working with spatial data

  • Participate in project team meetings

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional GIS experience, including at least 4 years in a similar position

  • Practical, daily experience with ArcGIS Pro

  • Experience creating digital maps based on geographic data

  • Experience acquiring, maintaining, and updating geospatial data

  • Experience analyzing patterns and trends in spatial data

  • Ability to turn non-technical team questions into concrete map product requirements

  • Experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro 3.0+ and ArcGIS extensions (3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst) is specifically requested

  • Experience with ModelBuilder and SQL is additionally valued

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum BSc/engineering)

  • English B2+ confirmed by certificate/audit before onboarding

  • EU citizenship

  • Willingness to complete EU RESTRICTED security clearance (RESTREINT) if requested

  • Criminal record certificate (KRK) issued within the last 6 months before start
