Description

Evaluate SME loan applications by analyzing financial information and other risk indicators, then provide well-reasoned, risk-based credit recommendations. Support the structuring of secured and unsecured loans, document clear credit assessments, and contribute to credit decisions with underwriting teams. Assist with portfolio performance monitoring and hardship assessments, maintaining accurate records and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assess SME loan applications and recommend actions based on credit risk
• Review financial statements, credit reports, and other risk indicators to determine creditworthiness
• Assist with structuring secured and unsecured loans in line with lending policies
• Prepare clear credit assessments and provide input into credit decisions
• Support portfolio monitoring and flag potential risks or trends
• Help with hardship assessments by analyzing customer circumstances and proposing solutions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across systems
• Collaborate with senior underwriters and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience as a Credit Analyst, Junior Underwriter, or in a similar credit or financial services role
• Strong ability to analyze financial information and assess SME credit risk
• Exposure to secured and unsecured lending (desirable)
• Skilled in interpreting financial statements and credit reports
• Experience in alternative lending or non-bank financial services is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and commercial judgment
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Polish and English (both required); French is an advantage

Benefits

• Compensation: 78,000–300,000 PLN gross per year, depending on experience and seniority
