Description

Lead end-to-end business analysis to generate insights for strategic choices and tactical execution within the rare disease commercial space. Build and implement analytics plans and models (including diagnostic funnel and patient journey) using market research and performance reporting to support business decisions, including Integrated/Quarterly business reviews and strategic planning. Collaborate on rare disease data strategy, dataset procurement, and delivery of analytics solutions that enable commercial excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute analytics plans aligned to business objectives and strategic initiatives
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research and provide integrated insights
  • Use data mining of syndicated pharma sources (e.g., IQVIA, Komodo, MMIT) to derive insights for business questions and decisions
  • Identify business needs and propose analytical approaches; conduct subnational analyses using local customer insights
  • Develop opportunities using descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive analytics (e.g., patient finder, next best HCP)
  • Generate performance reporting and interpret results against key imperatives and defined success criteria
  • Deliver analytics for integrated business reviews, quarterly business review support, and strategic planning
  • Operationalize diagnostic funnel and patient journey models for rare disease indications
  • Support commercial mix modeling, field alignment, incentive compensation, and call planning
  • Develop analytics frameworks for new product launches with commercial stakeholders

  • Salary range: $224,640–$256,600 per year

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 4 years of advanced analytics and customer insights experience in the biopharmaceutical healthcare market
  • Experience leading analytics and market research initiatives targeting healthcare providers, patients, caregivers, payers, and other stakeholders
  • Experience implementing rare disease analytics methodologies and frameworks (patient journeys, diagnostic pathways, brand differentiation)
  • Experience building and operationalizing diagnostic funnel and patient journey models for rare disease indications
  • Hands-on coding in SQL, Python, R, and/or SAS using cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and/or MicroStrategy
  • Experience applying AI/ML on de-identified claims and EMR datasets for patient identification, targeting, and customer insights
  • Experience conducting primary market research in rare disease to support message effectiveness and brand/access/treatment questions
  • Experience with commercial mix modeling, field alignment, incentive compensation, and call planning
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Veeva and Salesforce for omnichannel engagement
  • Experience developing analytics frameworks for new product launches
  • Ability to manage 2 direct reports (Contractor Analysts)
