Description

Own the full lifecycle of IADS products—from pursuit and capture through design, development, on-time delivery, service/support, and long-term strategic business planning. You will lead cross-functional integrated project teams to drive delivery assurance, supply chain resilience, risk management, and customer satisfaction. The VSL serves as the organization’s face to multiple clients and customers and reports directly to the Integrated Air Data Systems Associate Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead several cross-functional Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) managing new products/services with new market capabilities and offerings

• Manage the IPT to drive supply chain resilience and achieve output and delivery assurance targets

• Implement functional strategy and establish operational plans for the work area

• Manage large risks with meaningful financial and schedule impacts and strategic implications for the enterprise

• Maximize customer satisfaction given your influence on product and project execution

• Influence and negotiate elements of key business opportunities

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance

• Active and existing DoD Secret clearance required after day 1

• Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant experience (or an advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years)

• Demonstrated ability to lead large development teams with diverse skill sets and cross-functional interdependencies

• Ability to distill complex ideas into clear elements and communicate them up and down the management chain

• Pertinent product lifecycle experience relevant to VSL leadership and technology execution

• Business acumen to devise investment strategies, evaluate opportunities, and establish business priorities
