Description

Lead planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of complex cross-functional product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from concept through commercial release and deployment. Drive programs through PLM and stage-gate milestones by building gate plans, ensuring deliverables are complete, and securing timely reviews and approvals. Manage integrated schedules, scope, requirements, budgets, risks, and readiness activities while coordinating stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Product Management, and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate stage-gate reviews, executive decision meetings, product release approvals, and clear communication of status, risks, opportunities, and required actions

  • Define and control program scope, requirements, budgets, cost targets, resources, and quality objectives aligned to business priorities

  • Build and manage integrated schedules, critical paths, dependencies, action registers, risk registers, issue logs, and decision records

  • Coordinate Engineering Change Management, change control, configuration management, technical documentation, and product release records

  • Coordinate supply-chain, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, service, and operational-readiness activities for successful production launch

  • Support new product trials, customer/field deployments, feedback capture, lessons learned, and improvement actions

  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, portfolio reports, and executive summaries for schedule, cost, quality, risk, decisions, and time-to-market

  • Prioritize a portfolio of concurrent programs; recommend sequencing, tradeoffs, or escalation based on value and execution risk

  • Continuously improve PLM governance, stage-gate criteria, program tools, reporting practices, workflows, and cross-functional communication

  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to developing program/project resources and cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Advanced understanding of project and program management processes: scope, schedule, cost, resources, risk, quality, communication, stakeholder management, and change management

  • Strong working knowledge of PLM, NPD/NPI, stage-gate governance, product release, and lifecycle decision processes

  • Working knowledge of engineering, manufacturing operations, supply chain, procurement, quality systems, regulatory requirements, service readiness, and production readiness

  • Knowledge of requirements management, Engineering Change Management, change control, configuration management, document control, and product data governance

  • Ability to manage multiple complex programs and competing priorities with limited supervision

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, resolve conflict, negotiate commitments, and facilitate difficult conversations

  • Strong written and verbal communication for executive-level summaries, gate-review packages, presentations, dashboards, and program reports

  • Ability to identify program risks, constraints, resource gaps, cost concerns, quality issues, and technical dependencies; develop mitigation plans and escalate appropriately

  • Strong business and financial acumen: budgets, cost targets, forecasts, business cases, and portfolio tradeoffs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with PLM/ERP/project management/scheduling/document-control/requirements/reporting systems preferred

  • Ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, specifications, requirements, bills of material, release documentation, quality records, and customer requirements

  • May require travel to customer, supplier, field, and manufacturing sites, as well as industry events

  • Must maintain confidentiality and comply with safety, quality, business conduct, and HSE requirements
