Description

You will manage and enforce client claims in construction infrastructure projects by issuing cost or hindrance notices and developing a structured process to document, track, and send notices and change offers to clients. The role includes creating change offers and written documentation, producing position papers with the full case (including timeline) and evaluation of claim positions, and preparing VOB/B notices hands-on. You will also develop strategies to assert claims toward clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure claims toward clients through cost or hindrance notices

• Build a process for documentation, tracking, and dispatch of notices/change offers

• Develop strategies to enforce claims with clients and subcontractors

• Create and document change offers

• Write position papers, including factual and timeline representation and evaluation of claim positions

• Create VOB/B notices (hands-on)

Requirements

• Experience in contract management in construction

• Very good knowledge of VOB/B

• Experience in the rail (DB) environment on the contractor side, ideally in infrastructure (construction)

• Solid knowledge of change/order award (nachtragsvergaben)

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability for strategic planning and problem-solving

• Experience with project management and construction projects
