Description

You act as the primary technical expert for campaign solutions, owning technical conception, implementation, and sustainable improvements. You consult during the development of new campaigns, clarify required systems and dependencies, and help ensure efficient campaign execution through technical architecture and close collaboration with internal and external contacts. You also support technical feasibility, performance and scalability, and lead deep analysis and retrospectives after campaigns to build resilient architecture.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting for new campaign development, distinguishing between standard and non-standard formats and identifying early technical requirements and challenges
• Define the required systems and evaluate/manage dependencies between systems (e.g., app, marketing platform, couponing center) aligned with the Product Owner
• Bridge business units with technical experts and contacts within and outside the team to ensure efficient campaign execution, including alignment between Datacenter Services, campaign executing vendors, and the PAYBACK organization
• Ensure technical queries are answered competently and maintain clear communication
• Consult on technical feasibility, performance aspects, and scalable execution
• Conduct deep analysis and retrospectives after campaigns to create a resilient architecture
• Support process owners during technical or procedural campaign problems and contribute to rapid resolution

Requirements

• Strong coordination skills for managing complex processes across business areas, stakeholders, and external providers
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to “translate” technical topics and requirements for business units
• Container platform expertise with OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of virtualization environments
• Experience with observability tools: Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana
• Scripting experience (e.g., Python)
• Architecture understanding for modern microservice architectures
• Fluent English (German skills appreciated)
