Description

Ensure continuous availability and optimal performance of a Magento 2 platform and its components. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD processes, automate deployments, and manage configuration while monitoring and optimizing application and infrastructure performance. Diagnose and resolve complex incidents, support infrastructure and data security, and collaborate with Magento developers while keeping technical documentation up to date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Magento 2 platform availability and performance across components such as MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Varnish, and others.

• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines; automate deployments and configuration management.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements (database optimization, caching, and web server tuning).

• Monitor and optimize RabbitMQ workers used for ERP integration.

• Diagnose and resolve complex application and infrastructure incidents.

• Ensure security of infrastructure and data.

• Collaborate closely with Magento developers to optimize code and architecture.

• Create and update technical documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (or related role) with strong focus on e-commerce platforms or high-traffic systems.

• Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub and Bitbucket, plus hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent knowledge of Magento 2 architecture and key processes: cron, indexer, cache, and message queues.

• Practical MySQL experience, including query and index optimization.

• Experience with Redis.

• Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch 8.x.

• Practical experience with RabbitMQ.

• Knowledge of Nginx and Varnish.

• Ability to write automation scripts using Bash, Python, and PHP CLI.

• Experience with configuration management tools.

• Knowledge of monitoring tools.

• Ability to quickly diagnose and solve complex problems.

• Good English level for reading and using technical documentation.
