Description

You will administer and maintain the LAN/WLAN network infrastructure (including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM), monitor network security and availability, and design and deploy IT/OT network segmentation (VLANs, security zones) and microsegmentation. You’ll standardize network device configurations, manage firmware, handle configuration backups, and support the lifecycle of network devices. You will also help modernize and expand the network, integrate new OT environments into existing infrastructure, and manage external provider service access to the OT environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain LAN/WLAN, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM

• Monitor the network and ensure security and availability

• Design and implement IT/OT segmentation, including VLANs and security zones

• Implement microsegmentation solutions

• Standardize configuration of network devices and manage firmware

• Perform and manage backup of device configurations

• Manage the lifecycle of network devices

• Manage vendor service access and control external connections to the OT environment

• Participate in network modernization and expansion for new production projects

• Integrate new OT environments with the existing infrastructure

Requirements

• Higher education (preferably IT-related)

• Experience in network administration and maintenance

• Knowledge of Cisco and/or Aruba networking infrastructure

• Practical knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN, and VPN

• Ability to design, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate networks

• Basic understanding of OT industrial network architecture and specifics

• Ability to work in projects and collaborate across different organizational areas

• Preferred: Knowledge of IEC 62443 and secure communication principles between IT and OT networks

• Preferred: Experience with environments using CNC, MES, or SCADA

• Preferred: Industry certifications such as CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional, or equivalent
