Description

You will integrate, configure, and commission complex IT and communication systems in a security-critical Defense environment—from installation through successful acceptance testing. The role combines modern networking technology, system integration, and direct onsite customer support, with a high level of responsibility in high-availability, mission-critical systems. Responsibilities

• Integrate, configure, and commission complex IT and communication systems in the Defense environment

• Install and implement network, server, and communication components

• Conduct integration, functional, and acceptance tests

• Analyze faults, diagnose technical issues, and implement lasting fixes

• Perform software, firmware, and system updates

• Support optimization of existing system landscapes

• Create technical documentation and system evidence

• Provide onsite technical support and consulting to end users

• Work closely with project management, development, and customer organizations

Requirements

• Completed training in Fachinformatik (IT systems integration), communications technology, or comparable qualification; or a degree in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field

• Experience with Windows and Linux systems

• Knowledge of networks including routing, switching, and IP-based architectures

• Understanding of virtualization and server systems

• Experience integrating complex hardware and software solutions (advantage)

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance with customers

• Class B driver’s license and readiness to travel within Germany (90–100%)
