Description

You will trade electricity on day-ahead and intraday markets—your position, your P&L, your decisions. You will monitor and evaluate fundamentals that drive price movements and help build and test trading strategies and tools. The role is designed for people who are comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and learning fast from mistakes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute trades on day-ahead and intraday electricity markets
  • Track and evaluate price-moving fundamentals (weather, power generation including renewables, consumption, and cross-border flows)
  • Co-create and test trading strategies and tools
  • Take responsibility for trading results

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with comfort in numbers, probability, and rapid calculations under pressure
  • Ability to make fast decisions even without all information; ownership of outcomes
  • Emotional discipline and composure when positions don’t follow the plan
  • Willingness to compete for results and admit mistakes
  • Strong interest in energy markets and how real-world events influence prices
