Description

You will own and operate the infrastructure platform that powers 24/7 proprietary crypto trading on real capital. The role covers Linux, AWS across multiple regions, on-prem infrastructure, networking, deployments, observability, and the data layer, with end-to-end responsibility rather than ticket-based work. You will improve release safety, make latency/production issues diagnosable quickly, and run PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB workloads with tested backup/restore.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform end to end (Linux, AWS, on-prem, networking, deployment, secrets, access) with reproducible infrastructure

• Make deployments safe in live trading (no maintenance windows); improve versioning, verification, rollback

• Build observability to quickly identify whether latency spikes come from the system, network, or exchange

• Run and operate the data layer (PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB): replication, Patroni failover, retention/compression, performance, backups and restores

• Own commercially important networking (connectivity/routes, IP whitelisting, remote access, failover)

• Improve internal platform and automated access/identity tooling

• Handle incidents (including occasional out-of-hours on-call), perform root-cause analysis, and prevent recurrence

• Work directly with developers, researchers, and traders with full context
