Description

As part of the backend/server team, you will design, implement and maintain server-side components for MyQ neXt, a distributed system with clustered microservices, device apps, desktop clients, and a mobile app. You will develop the server admin user interface, business logic for printed and scanned document workflows, and integrations with external services such as payment, storage, user directory, and authentication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain server-side components for a distributed printing platform

• Develop the server admin UI and core document workflow business logic

• Implement integrations with external services (payment, storage, user directory/authentication)

Requirements

• Fluent in modern OOP PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript; production service shipping and maintenance experience

• Experience with distributed systems, REST and messaging; design for distributed environments

• Solid security knowledge; OWASP Top 10 understanding

• Comfortable with SQL and relational databases

• Experience with containerized applications

• Ability to debug production issues that occur under load and provide root-cause analysis

• Confident in architecture discussions and open to new ideas

• English B2 or higher
