Description

You will design, implement, and maintain backend/server components for MyQ neXt, a distributed system with a clustered microservice server, apps inside printing devices, desktop clients, and a mobile app. You will own at least one component such as the containerized Print Server (authentication, spooling, parsing), the Gateway MITM component, the Document Processor using Tesseract for OCR, or the License and Telemetry servers. Work with a small backend team and help shape the product alongside the CTO/CPO.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services for a distributed printing platform

• Own one or more components (Print Server, Gateway, Document Processor, or License/Telemetry servers)

• Implement features for authentication, print job spooling/parsing, processing offload, OCR/document processing, and license/telemetry data handling

• Debug and resolve production issues, especially those that occur under load

• Participate in architecture discussions and propose improvements

Requirements

• Fluent in modern C# and C++ with experience shipping services to production

• Experience with distributed systems and multithreaded applications; understanding of messaging and locking

• Strong security understanding (code and user workflows); familiarity with OWASP Top 10

• Comfort with SQL and relational databases

• Experience running containerized applications

• Ability to debug load-dependent issues and write follow-up root cause analysis

• Ability to contribute to architecture discussions and stay open to new ideas

• English B2 or above
