Description

Design, develop, and maintain software applications that support commodity trading. You will improve internal workflows and automation, integrate modern technologies, and collaborate with business analysts, traders, and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions to enhance trading systems, trading operations, and automation
• Implement and maintain internal applications, including web platforms and analytical tools
• Gather requirements with business analysts and end-users and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Optimize and improve existing software for better efficiency and performance
• Deploy product updates, troubleshoot production issues, and implement enhancements based on feedback
• Maintain documentation and follow software development, security, and performance best practices

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in the JVM ecosystem with a strong focus on Kotlin
• Excellent knowledge of REST APIs (FastAPI experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git and GitLab
• Understanding of microservices architecture (or SOA), event-driven patterns, or real-time streaming systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and develop deep understanding of business needs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
