Description

You’ll design and develop Kotlin/Spring Boot backend services and APIs, including integration of functionality that uses LLMs. The work covers data access layers with PostgreSQL, query optimization, and building reliable components that run in production. You’ll also diagnose technical problems, ensure code quality, and contribute to technical decisions through code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs in Kotlin using Spring Boot

• Implement new features and evolve existing system components

• Integrate applications with LLMs and develop LLM-based functionality

• Design data access layer and work with PostgreSQL

• Create and optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient data processing

• Design integrations between backend services, AI components, and other parts of the environment

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues occurring in production

• Ensure code quality, testability, and reliability

• Participate in code reviews and help drive technical decisions

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Kotlin experience in backend projects

• Very strong Spring Boot knowledge and experience building production services and APIs

• Practical PostgreSQL experience, including creating and optimizing queries

• Experience integrating or developing applications using LLMs

• Strong understanding of backend service design and system-to-system integration

• Experience building testable, readable, maintainable code

• Ability to independently analyze and resolve technical problems

• English language proficiency at least B2

• Availability to start immediately or within a maximum of 1 month
