Description

You will administer and continuously improve Windows Server and remote desktop services in both on-premises environments and the Microsoft Azure Cloud. You will operate enterprise storage solutions (ideally HPE GreenLake) including provisioning, monitoring, capacity management, and incident handling for 2nd/3rd level support.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, operate, and further develop Windows Server environments (on-premises and Microsoft Azure Cloud)
  • Operate and optimize Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including provisioning, performance tuning, and error analysis
  • Manage and operate HPE GreenLake cloud storage solutions: provisioning, monitoring, and capacity management
  • Support data center activities: server and storage installation, removal, and upgrades
  • Plan and implement change requests as part of lifecycle management (patching, upgrades, migrations)
  • Analyze and resolve incidents in 2nd/3rd-level support
  • Document systems and processes and support audits and compliance needs
  • Work with internal teams and external service providers and manufacturers (e.g., HPE, Dell, Cisco)

Requirements

  • Completed IT education (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in administration of server and storage infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of Remote Desktop Services (RDS), including session hosts, broker, and gateway functions
  • Experience operating enterprise storage solutions, ideally HPE GreenLake
  • Basic virtualization knowledge (VMware) and data center infrastructure
  • Experience with ITIL-based operations processes (Incident, Change, Problem management)
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility
  • Team mindset and confident technical communication
  • Good German and English skills
