Description

You will analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into scalable, maintainable automation solutions using BPMN 2.0 and other modelling standards. You’ll design end-to-end automation covering system interactions, integrations, APIs, data flows, and automation components—making documented technical decisions for scalability, security, performance, and operational needs. You will also build scripts and technical components, integrate automation platforms and enterprise applications, and take technical ownership from design through production.

Responsibilities

• Perform solution architecture and technical design based on business requirements

• Create and document end-to-end automation designs (integrations, APIs, data flows)

• Make design decisions considering scalability, maintainability, security, performance, and operations

• Develop and integrate automation scripts/components; troubleshoot complex technical issues

• Build integrations between automation platforms, APIs, enterprise applications, and other systems

• Provide technical leadership from design through implementation and production

• Guide developers and automation specialists; drive technical impediment resolution with stakeholders

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English and German

• Several years of experience in IT solution design, software development, automation, integration, or comparable roles

• Mandatory: hands-on coding experience in production-relevant solutions using JavaScript, Groovy, Java, Python, or comparable languages

• Strong understanding of software development principles, APIs, integrations, data structures, and system-to-system communication

• Proven end-to-end technical solution design and implementation experience

• Ability to understand existing code and independently troubleshoot and modify technical components

• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving; ability to own technically complex topics

• Agile experience and proactive stakeholder engagement

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/IT or comparable field (beneficial) or equivalent experience
