Network and IT Infrastructure Administrator

Quick Facts - Role: Network and IT Infrastructure Administrator (IT infrastructure and L1 user support) Description You will manage and operate the company’s network and server infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure IT operations. The role also includes L1 support for users—handling day-to-day IT requests via in person, phone, and email. You will monitor network security and technical health, resolve incidents, and maintain systems and services including VPN, DNS, mail, VoIP, and virtualization. Responsibilities - Administer, configure, and maintain network infrastructure and network services - Monitor network technical and security status and resolve operational incidents - Administer and maintain server infrastructure in Windows and Linux environments - Configure and manage network services/technologies such as VPN, IPSec, DNS, mail, and VoIP - Perform regular system and security updates - Manage the virtualization environment - Handle backup and data restore - Ensure stability and availability of standard company IT operations - Provide L1 user support (in person, by phone, and via email) - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights - Prepare and manage client devices - Coordinate with vendors and arrange service interventions - Inventory IT assets and maintain technical documentation - Participate in future on-call IT support rotations Requirements - At least 5 years of IT experience, ideally in network and infrastructure administration - Practical experience with administration and configuration of network devices and services - Understanding of VPN, IPSec, DNS, mail, and VoIP technologies - Knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems - Experience with virtualization - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 / O365 - Basic scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell - Ability to diagnose problems and find root causes - Ability to support users with everyday IT issues and communicate clearly and kindly - Independent, reliable, and careful approach - Secondary or higher education (SŠ/VŠ) Benefits - Financial stability and bonuses: biannual bonuses (May and November), special bonus for stability and loyalty, and rewards for work anniversaries and retirement - Comfort and time off: 5 weeks of vacation, meal allowance (200 CZK per worked day) - Retirement savings contribution (pension/life insurance, DIP) - Health and perks: Multisport card, EDENRED Benefit card, discounts (e.g., Xiaomi, Makro, O2 Family), online medical consultation (uLékaře.cz), and paid flu vaccination - Complete onboarding and training
