Description

As an IT & Technology Legal Advisor, you will prepare, review, and negotiate complex customer, supplier, and partner contracts for software development and delivery, licenses, SaaS, and cloud services. You will assess key contractual risks (liability, compensation for damages, sanctions, warranties, acceptance, termination, IP rights) and align contractual terms with the technical solution and delivery realities. You will also translate legal risks into clear, decision-ready guidance and help improve contract standards and internal know-how.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate major commercial contracts (customer, supplier, partner)
• Manage contracts for software development and delivery, licenses, SaaS, cloud, SLA, outsourcing, services, maintenance, subcontracting, NDA, and DPA
• Assess key contractual risks: liability, damages, penalties/sanctions, warranties, acceptance, termination, IP rights, and other business obligations
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure contracts reflect the technical solution, timeline, and delivery capabilities
• Partner with sales, delivery, Security & Compliance, and management to find practical and balanced solutions
• Translate legal risk into understandable language for leadership and project teams
• Contribute to contract standards, template documentation, internal rules, and practical legal expertise

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant legal practice
• Experience preparing and negotiating complex commercial contracts; ability to run contract matters independently from risk identification to final agreement
• Orientation in IT law and related topics (software licensing, IP, personal data protection, cyber security, cloud, outsourcing, and/or relevant tech regulation)
• Ability to understand technical and operational delivery context
• Ability to lead clear discussions with delivery, sales, management, or customers
• Pragmatic approach to risk assessment (major risks vs. acceptable compromises)
• Confident English for contract work and negotiations
