Solution Architect (Compliance/Legal Operations)

For a pharmaceutical company, we are looking for a Solution Architect experienced in Legal/Compliance IT solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect a robust digital backbone for legal operations that integrates with the corporate IT landscape, ensuring service excellence and business continuity.
  • Ensure all solutions meet high security and compliance standards to protect sensitive legal data.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and integrate SaaS solutions in line with enterprise standards, business priorities, and the wider IT ecosystem.
  • Lead and manage cross-solution architecture design discussions with developers, vendors, internal and external partners, and design authorities.
  • Review existing solution architecture to drive continuous improvement and manage technical debt.
  • Research, evaluate, run proofs of concept, and adopt new solutions.
  • Design non-functional requirements, assess vendor capabilities, and evaluate solution integration capabilities.
  • Translate business requirements into technical architecture.
  • Create and own Solution Architecture documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to create additional value and improve business processes.
  • Partner with Product Managers and the Enterprise Architect to establish high-level solution intent and demonstrate product value to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise and business knowledge in Legal and Compliance.
  • At least 7 years of relevant IT experience designing and implementing technology solutions in Legal Operations, particularly matter management, document management, legal spend management, and contract management.
  • Expertise working with SaaS solutions and vendors.
  • Practical experience with public clouds: AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and SAP Cloud.
  • Knowledge of middleware architecture and ESB/EAI-based integration.
  • Experience creating architectural documentation, such as UML.
  • Expertise in multiple technology domains, including Cloud, Automation, Data, and AI.
  • Broad understanding of middleware integration, security, infrastructure, and DevOps layers, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Ability to develop and articulate a vision for one or more technology domains.
  • Ability to understand both long-term, big-picture and short-term perspectives.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
