Description

You will lead the creation and implementation of a global IT Governance, Risk & Compliance strategy as a direct partner to the CIO. You will ensure IT compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and internal standards, manage IT risk/compliance/internal controls and audit programs, and drive continuous process improvement. You will also set and evaluate IT governance performance KPIs, SLAs, and metrics while leading an international team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global strategy for IT governance, risk, and compliance
  • Build and manage an IT governance framework across an international organization
  • Own processes for IT risk management, compliance, internal controls, and audit programs
  • Ensure IT environment compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and company internal standards
  • Collaborate with Quality, Validation, Security, Legal, Data Privacy, Internal Audit, and external auditors
  • Define and evaluate KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for IT governance
  • Identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and manage improvement-focused projects
  • Lead IT communication strategy and effective information sharing across the organization
  • Manage an international team of 6 (2 direct reports), including development and support

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Compliance, Risk Management, or IT Audit
  • At least 5 years of team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of IT governance, internal controls, audits, risk management, and continuous improvement
  • Experience in regulated industry; experience with GMP compliance and/or similar control frameworks and standards
  • CSV/CSA experience is a strong advantage
  • Ability to create strategy, set processes, and drive change across a global organization
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking; ability to make decisions and communicate with different management levels
  • Excellent English proficiency for daily international communication
