Description

You will design and continuously improve the IT governance system aligned with COBIT, focusing on building and implementing IT portfolio processes and standards. You will develop sustainable steering for both the IT project portfolio and IT service portfolio in close collaboration with business units and IT management, and advise management on prioritization, economic value assessment, and risk. You will analyze governance impact and help shape measures to improve how the system behaves.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and further develop the COBIT-based IT governance system for Amprion’s IT, with a focus on establishing and implementing IT portfolio processes and standards
  • Build and improve sustainable IT portfolio steering for IT projects (IT project portfolio) and IT services (IT service portfolio)
  • Support and advise management on prioritization, business case/economic efficiency assessment, and risk estimation of portfolio elements
  • Analyze steering effectiveness and co-design/guide measures to further develop the system’s behavior
  • Collaborate closely with IT management and adjacent governance functions in a cooperative, appreciative environment

Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics/business administration, business informatics, or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in IT portfolio management and/or in designing IT organizations and IT steering systems; ideally several years
  • Ability to understand complex topics and system impacts and turn them into practical governance concepts
  • Structured and reliable working style with ability to drive topics independently; willingness to exchange in the team
  • Confident communication with diverse stakeholders; ideally also with management and C-level contacts
  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g., COBIT, SAFe, ITIL) and willingness to learn missing frameworks quickly
