Description

You will help deliver capital markets software by owning requirements, backlog, and acceptance testing with deep, hands-on Murex expertise. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and the engineering team to translate requirements into Jira tickets and ensure quality, on-time delivery. Depending on your background, your focus may be testing strategy and automation, integration and data mapping between Murex and downstream systems, or technical configuration (including building test cases in MXtest).

Responsibilities

  • Collect and drive requirements directly with the business; advise what is technically feasible

  • Translate requirements into Jira tickets, own the backlog, and hold the development team accountable for quality and timely delivery

  • Apply Murex and capital markets domain knowledge to ground requirements and reviews technically

  • Run acceptance testing to confirm delivered work meets requirements

  • Depending on background: define test strategy and acceptance criteria (and move toward automation); or scope integration/data-mapping requirements and review technical approach; or build test cases in MXtest

  • Use AI tools to accelerate parts of requirements, testing, or delivery where appropriate

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner experience

  • Hands-on Murex experience in testing (MXtest), integration, or technical configuration

  • Domain experience in one or more areas: Payments, transfers, SWIFT, FX auto-pricing, FX hedging, FX risk management, FX front-office trade booking, FX cash, FX trade lifecycle (confirmation, affirmation, regulatory reporting)

  • Ability to take ownership of problems and deliver without being walked through every step

  • Bias for action; execution mindset; drive requirements from the business

  • Follow through until issues are resolved

  • Strong communication skills in high-stakes, trader-facing environments

  • Ability to align working hours to maintain 5–6 hours overlap with US Eastern time

  • English proficiency

  • Polish residency required
