Description

Translate payroll domain needs—legal changes and customer ideas—into final specifications for product functions in edlohn. Own end-to-end responsibility: from concept and solution discussions with UX and development through acceptance. Manage operational requirements in an agile environment by refining backlogs, creating user stories and defects in Jira, and aligning acceptance criteria and tests with QA.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze payroll requirements and develop specifications based on legal changes and customer input

  • Own end-to-end responsibility for assigned functions in edlohn (conception → implementation support with UX/development → acceptance)

  • Manage agile requirements: support backlog maintenance/refinement and create user stories and bugs in Jira

  • Define testable acceptance criteria with QA/Test Management; perform functional tests and lead approvals/acceptance

  • Collaborate with system consulting/support to resolve complex case scenarios

  • Actively exchange with external institutions and committees on payroll-related topics

Requirements

  • Very strong knowledge of payroll and payroll processing, including relevant reporting procedures (e.g., AAG, EEL)

  • Motivation to implement domain requirements into software; initial experience in product management/Business Analysis is preferred

  • Familiarity with Jira or comparable tools; confident use of common Office and collaboration tools

  • Structured, solution-oriented work style; IT affinity; fast comprehension; team spirit; openness to feedback

  • Very good German skills (C1) in writing and speaking

  • Ideally experience combining user perspective and product management, or strong motivation to quickly learn business analyst methods
