  • Purpose: Establish and run a portfolio of AI initiatives/POCs for a modernization program to explore generative AI across program delivery, product development, insights, planning, architecture, development, rollout, and governance.

  • Duration: Through 31.03.2027 (with option to 30.04.2027)

  • Allocation: 100% (equivalent to 900 hours before any option triggers)

  • Location: Primarily on-site at UDI facilities in Valle

Description

You will lead the work to establish, structure, and implement a portfolio of AI initiatives and proof-of-concepts, ensuring the program can adopt AI capabilities derived from the POCs. The role balances innovation with control by defining governance and frameworks for risk, privacy, information security, and regulatory compliance, and by turning pilot outcomes into decision-ready recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize AI initiatives and POCs with program leadership, product leaders, and subject-matter environments

  • Establish and lead AI pilots in administrative and development-related areas

  • Structure hypotheses, timelines, success criteria, expected benefits, and evaluation criteria for each pilot

  • Document learnings, recommendations, and experiences to support scaling and re-estimation of the program

  • Adapt the program’s delivery model to the AI tools that deliver real savings

  • Define AI governance for roles, responsibilities, decision points, and prioritization mechanisms

  • Coordinate and involve relevant stakeholders across program management, product environments, architects, security teams, and AI expert communities

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of general work experience in IT and digitalization; minimum 3 years of AI (KIR) experience

  • Bachelor’s degree level (or equivalent) in IT-related areas, or more than 12 years of relevant documented experience as an alternative

  • Documented experience establishing and executing AI pilots/POCs, including hypothesis testing, benefit evaluation, and result evaluation (last 2 years weighted)

  • Experience moving initiatives from idea phase to demonstrated value and decision basis

  • Experience with project management or coordination of complex initiatives with many stakeholders

  • Experience with hypothesis-driven development, experimentation, and value realization

  • Solid understanding of modern AI technologies (generative AI, language models, agentic solutions)

  • Experience creating decision bases, recommendations, and leadership presentations

  • Basic understanding of information security, privacy, and regulatory requirements for AI

  • Experience from public sector

  • Ability to use own PC for the assignment
