SAP Data Migration Expert (BM/IM/WM)

Description

Lead the end-to-end execution of allocated data migration areas and objects for SAP deployment waves. Work as the bridge between Global Data Migration Experts and DM Execution business teams to ensure local requirements are captured accurately in conversion workbooks. Coordinate migration activities, data verification, and incident/defect resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support large ERP programs (and may also assume responsibilities assumed by GDMEs on some projects)
• Act as the deployment wave focal point for in-scope data objects for migration
• Collaborate with Business Data Owners, deployment functional experts, ETL team members, and legacy teams
• Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects
• Prepare DMW load files and perform initial verification
• Prepare and execute DVT scripts
• Coordinate defect and hypercare incident resolution for objects under responsibility
• Resolve design defects or escalate them to GDMEs

Requirements

• 10+ years of ERP project implementation background
• SAP certification in at least one relevant functional area
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS
• Deep expertise in data migration execution
• Knowledge of GxP and CSV
• Functional expertise and leadership skills in an international, matrix-based organization
• Proven experience working with globally distributed teams in multi-country and multi-systems environments
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic and hands-on working style (running meetings, tracking progress, managing issues)
• Fluent English (B2+ level)
