• Role: SAP Data Migration Expert (BM/IM/WM Deployment)

Description

Lead end-to-end execution of allocated data migration areas and objects for SAP BM/IM/WM deployment waves. Collaborate with business and functional teams as a bridge between Global Data Migration Experts and deployment execution teams, ensuring local requirements are accurately captured in conversion workbooks. Validate migration transformation tools and outputs, prepare DMW load files, run DVT scripts, and coordinate defect and hypercare incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support large ERP programs (responsibilities may also be assumed by Global Data Migration Experts on certain projects)

• Act as the deployment wave focal point for data objects in scope for deployment project migration and local data migration

• Collaborate with Business Data Owners, deployment Functional Experts, ETL team members, and legacy teams

• Drive migration activities for the deployment project

• Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects

• Prepare DMW load files and perform initial verification

• Execute DVT scripts

• Coordinate defect and hypercare incident resolution for objects under responsibility

• Resolve design defects or escalate them to Global Data Migration Experts

Requirements

• 10+ years of ERP project implementation background

• SAP certification in at least one relevant functional area, with hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS

• Deep expertise in data migration execution

• Knowledge of GxP and CSV

• Functional expertise and strong leadership skills for an international, matrix-based organization

• Proven experience working with globally distributed teams across multi-country and multi-systems environments

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

• Strategic and hands-on working style (run meetings, track progress, manage issues)

• Fluent English (B2+ level)
