Description

Own the design and delivery of a brand-new, centralized performance testing automation platform for games development. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and QA to aggregate performance data from multiple game engines, process results, and highlight performance issues. You will shape the software architecture, database schemas, and the overall system experience while tracking and visualizing optimization progress over time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the platform for the gaming department (applications, integrations, and infrastructure).

• Partner with software architects, game developers, QA, and operations to remove bottlenecks and improve delivery.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Script repetitive tasks and develop self-service tools for developers.

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure.

• Implement and manage containers; stand up and manage VMs.

• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, build automation, delivery, and deployment.

• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts (including GitOps and configuration management).

• Practical experience with cloud platforms, version control, automation, monitoring, analytics, containerization, and microservices architecture.

• Comfortable coding in at least one language (preferred: Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, Python, C++/C#).

• Experience collaborating in Git.

• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration.

• Good practical experience managing cloud infrastructure (OCI is a plus).

• Experience standing up and maintaining Windows and/or Linux VMs.
