Description

In this role, you will support and maintain cloud infrastructure engineering platforms and interfaces that enable streamlined development and delivery of applications and services. You will collaborate with customers to deliver fast feature requests and bug fixes, while reducing effort across provisioning, deployment, configuration, updates, and repair. The work includes cluster operations, automation, API development, designs, documentation, and on-call support.

Responsibilities

  • Own EKS cluster management and related automations

  • Solve problems across the full technology stack

  • Develop stable, high-quality automation code and internal customer-facing APIs

  • Participate in the Support and On-call rota and provide customer support for cloud engineering services

  • Write and publish high-level designs and developer documentation

  • Help plan release schedules, workload, and priorities

  • Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance, and resilience

  • Analyze requirements, investigate options, and implement the best approach

  • Complete short test tasks in Go before the client interview

Requirements

  • 5+ years of platform/DevOps experience with AWS or GCP infrastructure

  • Strong Kubernetes knowledge (EKS), ideally including Vault, Kyverno, and policy management

  • Proven scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash with an Infrastructure as Code approach

  • Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Ansible

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud, networking, and MongoDB

  • Basic knowledge of Go language; ability to learn Go quickly

  • Strong communication skills and client centricity

  • Ability to participate in the on-call support rota (one week per 2–3 months)

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
