Description

You will own EKS cluster management and related automations, solving problems across the full technology stack for applications, games, and services running on cloud infrastructure. You’ll build stable automation code and internal/customer-facing APIs to support feature requests and bug fixes, while reducing engineering effort across provisioning, deployment, configuration, updates, and repair. The role also includes on-call support, plus creating high-level designs and developer documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own EKS cluster management and related automations
• Solve problems at every layer of the technology stack
• Develop high-quality, stable code for automation and internal customer-facing APIs
• Participate in Support and On-call rota (one week per 2–3 months)
• Write and publish High Level Designs and developer documentation
• Participate in release planning (schedules, workload, priorities)
• Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance, and resilience
• Analyze requirements and select/implement the best solution
• Complete short, straightforward GoLang test tasks

Requirements

• 5+ years of platform DevOps experience with infrastructure experience on AWS or GCP
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge (EKS); ideally experience with Vault, Kyverno, and policy management
• Proven scripting skills in Python, Ruby, or Bash with Infrastructure as Code approach
• Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, and Ansible
• Familiarity with AWS cloud, networking, and MongoDB
• Basic knowledge of Go; ability to learn GoLang quickly
• Strong communication skills and client-centricity
• Ability to join the on-call rota (one week per 2–3 months, compensated additionally as a bonus)
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
