Description

You will help build a data analysis and visualization platform that extracts and aggregates information from multiple data sources and makes it easy to understand and engaging for users. The job combines software architecture and design with data engineering: integrating data sources, ensuring consistency and freshness, automating processing, and providing data through interfaces for downstream use.

Responsibilities

• Develop a data analysis and visualization platform
• Design suitable software architecture and deliver high-quality software design
• Connect data sources (APIs, scrapers, files)
• Ensure data consistency and up-to-date availability
• Automate tasks using appropriate tools and scripting
• Provide data for further processing via interfaces
• Prepare data with charts and visualizations

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable education plus relevant professional experience as a software developer
• Very good knowledge of Python or selected programming languages
• Experience implementing software architecture
• Experience in data engineering
• Experience with version control systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Hands-on startup mentality
• Affinity for finance market topics
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
• (Optional) Background in Lean Startup methodology and rapid prototyping
