Role: Senior Software Engineer – SAP Banking

Description

Join a team building and redesigning applications in the SAP Banking environment. You will handle end-to-end design activities—process/component/system analysis and modeling—while defining architectures, technology stacks, and supporting component and acceptance testing. You will also contribute to cross-technology projects such as SAP BTP and SAP Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design SAP Banking applications and perform redesigns
• Conduct comprehensive concept, analysis, and modeling of processes, components, and systems to deliver efficient and innovative solutions
• Define architectures and technology stacks; execute component and acceptance tests
• Contribute to cross-technology projects such as SAP BTP or SAP Cloud
• Work across sectors including banks, building societies, and insurance companies

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable training
• Solid backend development knowledge (ABAP/ABAP-OO) and/or frontend development (SAP UI5/Fiori)
• Familiarity with SAP Banking modules such as BCA, BP, CML, CMS, CRM, DM, FI/CO, or iBS (BASS/FIN)
• Knowledge of different interface technologies and how to apply them
• Experience executing and documenting tests
• Confident communication in German and English, internally and externally
