Description

Act as a trusted technical advisor in a Federal/government environment, partnering with sales to position and demonstrate enterprise cloud solutions. Deliver technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations, while translating customer feedback back into the product ecosystem. You will also size/configure solutions and collaborate across presales teams to drive technical wins.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate features and articulate benefits of enterprise cloud solutions to influence customer purchases and drive business transformation.

• Size and configure solutions.

• Navigate and build long-term customer relationships as a trusted/valued resource.

• Communicate customer feedback into the product ecosystem.

• Partner with sales on account plans, customer persona coverage, and proposal creation.

• Collaborate with the wider presales team to obtain technical wins quickly and professionally.

Benefits

• Expected pay range: USD $175,000–$263,000 per year (at commencement).

Requirements

• 6 to 9 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with 1 to 3 years as a Presales Engineer.

• Federal government industry experience as a Presales Engineer.

• Advanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertise.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and determine project urgency.

• Ability to perform and execute POCs; may require lifting up to 50 lb servers to rack and stack hardware.

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.

• Analytical approach to solving complex problems and communicating solution strategy clearly.

• Security clearance preferred.
