Description

Designs and implements the organization’s IT infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments, covering compute, networking, security, backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery. Analyzes and maintains systems by testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring they meet internal and external requirements, KPIs, and SLAs. Provides advanced support, recommendations, documentation, and may lead IT projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, patch, and manage data center and cloud technologies including Azure, Nutanix, and VMware
• Design, implement, patch, and manage networking including LAN, WAN, wireless, Internet, and virtual networks
• Ensure uptime of critical business systems through monitoring and timely remediation
• Design, implement, patch, and manage security appliances including firewalls and information security services
• Troubleshoot complex issues and recommend improvements for existing and new systems
• Protect data assets and ensure backup procedures meet policy requirements
• Provide high-level design and support for disaster recovery of key systems
• Lead projects and assist other teams with IT initiatives
• Identify issues, evaluate trends, and anticipate requirements
• Ensure regulatory compliance, including Sarbanes-Oxley and comparable regulations
• Design and support monitoring, alerting, and automation infrastructure
• Manage users and identities, particularly within Azure Active Directory (group policies, OU structures, domain services)
• Provide user endpoint management including PC and application deployment
• Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing infrastructure technologies
• Provide technical expertise, documentation, and training to other team members
