System Engineer (Virtual Workplace)

Description

You will operate and further develop the company’s Citrix virtual workplace infrastructure in a team environment. Your work includes managing Citrix NetScaler for load balancing and secure access, print and file servers, and Citrix/FSLogix profile management. You will also help introduce and run Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) with Windows 11 Multi-Session.

Responsibilities

• Operate and continuously improve Citrix infrastructure together with the team
• Manage Citrix NetScaler for load balancing and secure access
• Administer print servers and file servers
• Administer Citrix and FSLogix profile management
• Support implementation and ongoing operation of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) with Windows 11 Multi-Session
• Participate regularly in the team’s 24/7 on-call rotation

Requirements

• Completed IT apprenticeship or degree or comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge of Citrix technologies (Citrix Apps and Desktops, Citrix Provisioning, Citrix WEM, Citrix FAS, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Cloud)
• Experience with virtual workplace solutions
• Experience with VMware, Windows Server, Azure, and ideally NVIDIA GPU passthrough
• Very good German and English skills
