Description

Support OSP network design and the engineering execution process for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments within an assigned geographic area. Prepare and update engineering work orders, review design prints and redlines, develop OSP designs in 3GIS, and handle invoice and documentation validation. Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments (FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, etc.)

  • Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections for construction readiness

  • Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use AutoCAD/CAD and related tools (Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, Microsoft Office)

  • Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies

  • Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines

  • Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance

  • Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers with record updates as needed

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience

  • 4–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience

  • Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners
