Description

You’ll implement developer tools or product features on a rapid-release cycle within an Agile development methodology. Depending on project needs, you’ll contribute as a backend or frontend engineer, including user-facing feature development and backend services. Work is guided by a senior developer and includes code reviews and unit tests.

Responsibilities

• Implement developer tools or product features under a senior developer’s direction
• Contribute as backend or frontend engineer based on team/project needs
• Build and maintain user-facing frontend features using TypeScript/JavaScript
• Develop backend services in Java for search adoption and scalability
• Assist with building/extending functionality in Workiva Assistant using TypeScript
• Track assignments and update status using internal tools
• Participate in Agile activities (standups, defining user stories, completing development tasks)
• Complete code reviews and unit tests

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program (Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related)
• Solid computer science foundation: data structures, algorithms, object-oriented software design
• Some experience with one or more: Python, Go, Java, C/C++/C#, Dart, or JavaScript
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Reliable internet access for remote work
