Description

Lead user-experience and user-interface design efforts across dashboards, data workflows, and mission-critical interfaces. Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and prototypes that translate mission and technical requirements into intuitive, accessible, and secure experiences aligned with federal usability standards. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Cloud, and Migration teams to deliver designs through Agile sprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct UX research (persona development, workflow analysis, UX discovery)
• Create UX artifacts: wireframes, user flows, journey maps, prototypes, interaction models
• Design responsive, modern UIs for web-based dashboards and cloud applications
• Create high-fidelity mockups, visual assets, design systems, and style guides
• Ensure usability, accessibility (Section 508), and security standards are met
• Collaborate with developers to support pixel-perfect implementation
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design reviews
• Provide design requirements, acceptance criteria, and handoff documentation
• Run usability testing, A/B testing, and UI validation; analyze results and recommend refinements
• Deliver design specifications and maintain design libraries for consistency
• Present concepts and UX findings to leadership and engineering teams

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in UI/UX design, human-centered design, or digital product development
• Proven expertise designing complex, data-rich interfaces for enterprise or mission-critical applications
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
• Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments
• Strong communication, research, prototyping, and collaboration skills
