Description

You’ll collaborate with global customers using Maya to improve tools, workflows, and production efficiency. As a subject matter expert, you’ll diagnose problems, design solutions, and contribute high-quality code and functional tests for product fixes and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with studios to understand existing pipelines and build solutions that improve efficiency or functionality

• Collaborate with developers, UX designers, QAs, and product owners to troubleshoot, design, and deliver fixes and enhancements

• Develop high-quality code, write functional tests, and contribute to technical designs

• Support a collaborative, high-performing team and work closely with customers

• Travel occasionally to customer sites and Autodesk offices may be required

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering and/or production experience

• Experience developing tools and workflows using Maya C++ or Python APIs leveraging computer graphics algorithms/techniques

• Demonstrated knowledge of game and/or film production pipelines

• Strong coding proficiency with C++ and Python

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate highly technical information to customers

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills

• Exceptional organizational skills; comfortable working independently in a remote working environment

• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and using Codex or similar tools to aid in coding

• Fluent spoken and written English

Benefits

• Competitive base salary (U.S.: $139,000–$249,260; Canada: $131,000–$191,400) plus a comprehensive benefits package and additional compensation such as annual cash bonuses/stock grants may apply
