Description

You will design, build, and continuously improve the data architecture and the underlying data infrastructure to ensure a robust and scalable data foundation. The role includes ETL/ELT processing of heterogeneous datasets, creating dashboards and reports for decision support, and working with business teams to define data requirements. You will also support data-driven strategies and processes and identify value-creation opportunities through analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the current data landscape and build/expand the data architecture
  • Build and optimize data infrastructure for robustness and scalability
  • Identify and implement analytics-driven value opportunities
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Process, clean, and analyze large heterogeneous datasets from multiple sources
  • Partner with internal departments to define data-related requirements
  • Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and processes

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT, DLT, Dagster) and strong SQL
  • Experience processing different data formats (e.g., Python)
  • Experience building and optimizing data infrastructures/architectures, ideally within a Snowflake DWH
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure SQL) and their use in Big Data projects
  • Very good German (C2) and good English (at least B2)
